A Carpet System That Allows For Drainage
COVERDECK SYSTEMS ® SUNLAR CARPET TILES are a modular carpet system designed for indoor or outdoor installation. The interlocking tray elevates the 34oz. un-backed needlepoint polypropylene carpet finish 5/8” above the sub surface allowing the tiles to drain freely.
The snap together design makes installation easy and fast, requiring no special tools or adhesives. Our unique expansion joints allow the tiles to expand and contract individually to help prevent buckling.
Coverdeck Systems® patented Carpet System (US Patent # 5666772) helps prevent concrete deterioration by elevating the carpet which can retain salts found in acid rain.
The unique design of the Coverdeck Systems® Carpet Tiles and its 304 supporting legs promote instant drainage.
Water sweeps through the tiles taking with it any dirt, sand,
etc from the surface providing a self cleaning action. This flow through design also helps keep the subsurface clean. The Coverdeck Systems® Carpet Tile is mildew, mold and stain resistant and has been treated with UV stabilizers to reduce fading.
SUBSURFACES: Coverdeck Systems® Sunlar Carpet Tilescan be installed over any hard surface including existing decks. If you are planning on using Coverdeck Systems® Carpet Tiles over grass or sand, we recommend using our
TempFloor® as a base. Installation on roof decks may require a
Protection Mat (product #2002).
